Branding : DSP Communications (Semiconductors)

DSP Communications, which designed and manufactured cellular and wireless communications chips, wanted a colorful, trendy brand for the mobile environment—and, presumably, to make the company more attractive to investors. We used an image with a dial pad on a hand to illustrate the mobile (“take anywhere”) features, and bold colors and graphics. The project included corporate folder and brochures, product brochures, data sheet and tradeshow graphic for a 30’x30’ booth. Not long after the re-branding, DSP was acquired by Intel for about $1.6 billion.
